In association with the Anse Forbans Community Conservation Programme, MCSS have
undertaken a number of activities ranging from developing hikes and trails into the
Collines du Sud hills, wetland mapping and restoration and on-land coral propagating.
The beach at Anse Forbans is also a prime hawksbill turtle nesting beach and as such is monitored under our Turtle Project.
Ortho-mozaic map of the Anse Forbans wetland generated from over 600 images captured
from our mapping drone.
We have a grant funded coral reef restoration project to help increase biodiversity on the reef and also to mitigate shoreline erosion.
Volunteers are welcome on this programme, please download the volunteer information file and then complete a volunteer application form and send it through to us. For the latest information please visit our turtle monitoring BLOG.
